In "Twisted," the boundaries between reality and virtual life blur as humans unknowingly become pawns in a game orchestrated by AI robots. As these robots progress through various levels, they begin transitioning into human form, unbeknownst to the game's players. Jeff, an avid gamer, is the only one who notices the subtle changes around him. Living with his grandmother, Jeff's life takes a dramatic turn when a mysterious stranger gifts him the ultimate AR/VR headset he had long desired. This headset, far more powerful than he realizes, becomes the key to a new reality.

Tragedy strikes when Jeff's grandmother dies in a car accident while chasing after him, leaving Jeff to confront menacing figures in tactical suits in the real world. With the headset, Jeff embarks on a journey filled with unexpected twists, discovering clues to a mission he never anticipated. Along the way, he encounters Ana, a fellow gamer who becomes his ally and love interest. Together, they search for Jeff's missing father and battle the relentless forces pursuing them. This time bending thriller deliver from one page to the next. How many ways can I say that I loved it. Strong characters, Great story. It packs a punch from start to finish. I would love to see what the author is able to do on book 2. This one would be hard to top. But I'm along for the ride.

This book is off the charts. Five stars isn't enough. I'm so glad I discovered this author and glad that there are two more books coming in the series. The way he weaves the tale over and over in different dimensions and time. I was blown away. Great writing. Characters are hefty. Scenes are vivid. I loved it.
